Overview

USAID’s Ebola Pillar II activities are aimed at mitigating the second-order economic, social, and
political impacts of the Ebola outbreak in the region. The Pillar II strategy has four subcomponents:
1) food security, 2) recovery of health systems and non-Ebola emergency health
services, 3) governance and economic crisis mitigation, and 4) innovation, technology, and
partnership. Activities are focused in six key areas: agriculture and food security; health services
and systems; education; governance; economic crisis mitigation; and information, communication,
and technology.

The objective of this activity is to produce one, five-to-seven-minute video showcasing how
USAID funding for Ebola recovery activities is improving the lives of survivors and those affected
by Ebola in Sierra Leone by making the health system more resilient and responsive to future
outbreaks, supporting food security, facilitating innovation and knowledge sharing across sectors,
and bolstering economic and political systems. The vendor will also document the work with still
photography.
