Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant

International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Knowledge Management and Communications Consultant (KMD) for a one-month consulting position to start in late December/early January.  The consultant will report to the Vice President, Business Development or his designee.


Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:  


  1. Manage information produced by various projects and activities
  • Support technical and business development teams to collect documentation produced by various project activities (ex. Toolkits, Models, etc.).
  • Prepare summary briefs or project/client specific documents (ex. RFP summaries or pre-solicitation documents).
  1. Produce information products
    • Design/update company branding.
    • Draft content updates for the IBTCI website.
    • Prepare template and first bi-annual “newsletter” for home office and field offices.
    • Draft marketing materials including Services one-pagers, Project one-pagers, etc. and if necessary update corporate capabilities, practice capabilities, IDIQ one-pagers.
  2. Disseminate information
    • Review existing content for IBTCI’s social media outlets (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter) and recommend changes and make revisions with approved changes.
    • Provide weekly updates to IBTCI’s social media outlets.
  3. Carry out other related duties as may be requested by his/her supervisor.



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of MS Publisher a plus.
  • Self-starter with initiative.
  • Ability to find solutions to challenges.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Three years related experience.
  • Must be creative
  • Ability to effectively summarize technical and personnel materials.
  • Ability to produce brief presentations.


  •  Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, communications or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.


Supervisory Responsibility:  None


Travel:  May be required.
