Expression of Interest (EOI) for Data Collection/Research Firms in Southern Africa
International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S. based international development consulting company established in 1987, has worked in over one hundred countries and implemented over two hundred projects. IBTCI serves government agencies, private sector companies and several donor agencies. IBTCI specializes in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) across many sectors including, but not limited to, conflict and crisis, democracy and governance, economic growth, education, environment, and global health.
IBTCI is currently seeking Data Collection/Research Firms based and registered in Southern Africa to support the upcoming USAID/Southern Africa Monitoring and Evaluation to Collaborate, Learn, Adapt, and Knowledge Management (MECLAK) Activity. The MECLAK IDIQ will provide a central platform for the procurement of support services that will strengthen, support, and facilitate USAID’s Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Collaborating, Learning and Adapting (CLA), and Knowledge Management (KM) practices and approaches within USAID Missions in Southern Africa and in USAID activities across Southern Africa. The IDIQ contract will support USAID programs in the 14 Southern Africa countries (Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe) plus the USAID/Southern Africa Regional Mission located in Pretoria, South Africa. Interested firms must be based and registered in 1 of these 14 countries. Selected firms will support the IBTCI Team in implementing the USAID/Southern Africa MECLAK Activity, if awarded, in data collection/research activities under the Activity. These include the ability to conduct and administer surveys, population based surveys, quantitative research, and qualitative research, among others as required by the Activity.
